Sixth child of nine children of which he is 4th son of six sons of Joseph F. Worrall and Sarah Stirnes ? both whom were born Sheffield England but married Braintree, England. Arrived from Sheffield,England to Naples, Scott County, Illinois 10 August 1844 with his parents and siblings. He was enlisted into the Union Army 5 November 1861 Company K 14th IL Vol Inf which is the same regiment as Dr. Benjamin Franklin Stephenson founder of the Grand Army of The Repubic served. He was mustered out 24 June 1864. September 28, 1864 in Scott County, Illinois he married Elizabeth Lawson daughter of Andrew Jackson Lawson and Ava Laura Bowles/Bowls. They would have four known children David ca 1866-Sep 1912 Ceres, Greene County, Illinois; Alfred F. Worrall who married Mary Josephine Preston daughter of James Woodmancy Preston and Isabella Jane Whitlock; Jenettie May who married James Edwin Preston son of James Woodmancy Preston and Isabella Jane Whitlock; and Sarah who married Elijah Herron. Jabus was a barber and at one time had a barbershop set up at Ceres, Illinois and James Woodmany Preston was a barber also in this shop. Jaabus along with his wife and their daughter Sarah and most likey their son David are buried at Ceres Cemetery.
