Pop Musician. A Rock, Doo-Wop, R&B singer, he was a member of the musical group, "The Larados" from 1955 to 1960. The group, formed at Edsel High School in Dearborn, Michigan, in 1955, included Tommy Hust, Rick Benko, Bob Broderick, Gary Banovets, Don Davenport, Ron Morris, John Dean, Tony Micale, and Joey Finazzo in addition to Bernie Turnbull. They signed on with the Fox Record Label and released the songs, "Bad, Bad Guitar Man" and "Now The Parting Begins." In 1960 the group split and went there separate ways to pursue other activities, from jobs to raising families. In 1977 after a 17 year hiatus the group reformed calling themselves, 'The Reflections' and 'The Crescents' and 'The Seminoles' before going back to 'The Larados.' In 1980 they released a two-record vinyl album on the Madog Record Label called, "Gone But Not Forgotten." Bernie Turnbull later joined a gospel singing group. He was later inducted in to the Michigan Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
