Rolland E. Morris died Monday at Gila General Hospital.
Funeral services were held at 1p.m. Wednesday at Payson School with James E Kilby officiating. Burial was in the Payson Cemetery.
Mr. Morris who was born June 15 1888 in Martinsburg Ind, had been an Arizona resident 40 years. He had lived in Chandler from 1924 until 1941 when he moved to Payson
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca of Payson: five sons, George, Wilford and Thomas of Payson, Glen of Wilcox and Donald of Elke. Nev.: three daughters, Mrs. Gladys Hopper of Phoenix, Mrs. Margaret Andrews and Mrs. Elna Shocklee, both of San Diego: a step son, Walter Schacklford of Oklahoma: a brother and sister out of state: 29 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
