Lucy Goetzinger, 94, of Alliance, died Sunday, December 27, 1998, at Highland Park Care Center.
She was born to Mike and Leona DeMuth July 17, 1904, in David City, and grew up in Elgin. She married Mike Goetzinger November 27, 1929, and moved seven miles east of Hemingford, where they farmed until 1970 when they moved to Alliance.
She is survived by sons Gerald Goetzinger of Martin, South Dakota and James Dallas Goetzinger of Richmond, Virginia; one granddaughter; seven grandsons; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Mike, who died April 26, 1986, two brothers, one sister and one great-granddaughter.
