Jonathan Allen and his brother ,Henry, both married Mary and Hannah Corlies sisters and daughters of George Corlies and Exercise Shattuck.

The brothers are sons of Jedediah Allen and Elizabeth Howland. The Quakes records indicate that they were born in Shrewsbury, Monmouth Co.,NJ.
