Elaine worked locally at Wass's Sardine Factory, Camick's Drug Store and Marie's Style Shop. She retired from Calais Regional Hospital where she worked for over ten years as a nurse's aide besides being a housewife. Elaine was very active in raising the funds for the thermal imaging camera for the Eastport Fire Department. Elaine was active in her church, Christ Episcopal Church in Eastport and played the organ there for over ten years besides helping with Sunday school and all the activities that the Woman's Guild sponsored. She also volunteered for many years with the Eastport Memorial Nursing Home Auxillary. Elaine enjoyed daily crossword puzzles, crocheting and many craft projects. She also enjoyed socializing at Meals For ME and get togethers with friends, especially the times she spent with Laura Turner in the yard swinging.
Elaine is survived by a loving and devoted son, Vincent H. Lodge, Jr.; three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband of fifty-one years, Vincent H. Lodge, Sr. and her daughter, Joan (Lodge) Foster.
