Find A Grave contributor Robert Wedding sent me a note stating that the Franklin, PA "News-Herald" newspaper, dated Saturday 2 June 1928 on Page 6 states: "There has been two new monuments placed in the Oakland cemetery, one at the grave of Mr. & Mrs. John Cauvel and the others at the graves of their little daughters".
This explains the incorrect death date on John's headstone; It was installed 19 years after he died. Thanks Robert
