He was born at Sheldon, Ill., March 20, 1888, and on Feb. 12, 1912, was married to Ethel Falwell. On Aug. 14, 1945, he was married to Mrs. Clara Ferguson, who survives, together with three daughters, Mrs. Frances Doty, Morocco; Mrs. Martha Ferguson, Mulberry, and Mrs. Janet Melady, Earl Park; four step-daughters, Mrs. Irene Doty, Morocco; Mrs. Ed Toney, Frankfort, and Wilma and Lois Ann Ferguson, at home; and two step-sons, Lloyd A. Ferguson, Mulberry, and Leo E. Ferguson, Fowler. Also surviving are four sisters, three brothers and 16 grandchildren.
Mr. Haselby came to this community from Oxford seven years ago and for two years was employed on the farm of George Needham. Later he was employed at the Mulberry Lutheran Home until illness compelled him to quit. He was a member of the United Brethren church at Royal Center.
Funeral services were conducted in the Kleinsmith funeral home Wednesday afternoon by the Rev. M. J. Sprunger. Many attended from Morocco, Royal Center, Rushville and other points in Indiana and Illinois. Burial was in the Morocco cemetery.
