'Received News of Sons Killed in France'
In the midst of the rejoicing over the end of the Great World War, sad tidings were borne over the wires to some who had sons in the Army.
W.S. McFadden, who lives a mile south of Glory, received a message from the War Department to the effect that his son, Pvt. Ben McFadden, was killed in action in France.
He went overseas a year ago last September. He was an unmarried young man about 23 years old.
