Benjamin is buried with wife and son, in Belville cemetery according to cemetery records. I suspect the stone at Old Fredericktown cemetery is a memorial stone while burial took place at Bellville cemetery. I am still looking for more documents to support this beyond just cemetery records, which are known to have mistakes. I believe two memorials need to be maintained for Benjamin as two nice tombstones exist in two well separated locations. I still think documents or book will surface shedding light on the burial details. TJD

Oscar Burton Robbins' book, pg 20 says "He and his wife Abigal are buried in the old cemetery at Bellville. The inscription on his monument reads 'Benjamin Jackson died June 6, 1842, aged 91 years, 3 months.' Hers reads "Abigal wife of Benjamin Jackson died Nov 1st, 1843, aged 88 years, 10 months, 25 days.' You have a picture of his monument, perhaps the inscription is weathered by now.

I do NOTE that Robbins' record of Benjamin differs slightly by saying Benjamin was b 5 Mar 1752 and died 5 Jun 1842. (I had not noticed until now how Abigal's name was spelled in the Robbins book and maybe on her gravestone! Later papers spell it Abigail.)
