Born May 9,1922 in Scioto County, a daughter of the late Everett and Maude (Shear) Allen, she was a lifetime resident of Scioto County.
She is survived by her husband, William Jefferson Whittaker; one son, Charles Everett Whittaker, of McDermott; two daughters, Mrs. Jack (Robin Renee) Ward, of Catlettsburg, Ky.,and Mrs. Joe (Mary (Janie) Jane) Alvarez, of Gahanna; four brothers, Orval Allen, of Beaver Route 2, Eugene Allen, of New Orleans, Louisiana, Clifford Allen, of Springfield, Elmer Allen, of Minford Route 1; two sisters, Mrs. Ralph (Maude Lovelle) Kronk, of Springfield, & Mrs. Jack (Opal) Murphy, of Sciotoville Route 2; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
