Kline Tealer Jr., was the oldest son born to the union of Cline and Gertie Tealer. His schooling and early years were spent in Gonzales, where he developed a deep love of the land and ranching which he returned to after retirement.
He enjoyed a 29 year military career in the U.S. Air Force (July 8, '46 - June 15, '75) serving in numerous capacities as N.C.O.I.C. of the Security and Intelligence Office; and many other areas of service. His dedication to service awarded him numerous medals and awards.
Following his retirement as Senior Master Sergeant, Bro. Tealer launched a second career as Documentation Officer for San Antonio Contracting Center at Ft. Sam Houston and served for 15 years.
Bro. Tealer had a deep abiding faith in Jesus Christ and has been a diligent worker for the Lord serving faithfully as an usher. He was a loved and valued member of our home church, where he was among the first members. He especially enjoyed Christian Conventions and looked forward to them for renewal.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his loving wife, Jewell; four sons; his father; one sister and three brothers; five grand children and a host of relatives and loving friends. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Rhonda, and his mother, Gertie Smith Tealer.
Kline will be remembered as a kind, gentle and warm family man, who loved the Lord Jesus.
