Mary Elizabeth Cochran, 73, of 141 Florence Cochran Road, Oak Hill, died Thursday, April 26, 1990, at home. Born May 6, 1916, in Scioto County, she was a daughter of the late Sampson and Emma Shoemaker Shear.
Preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Cochran, in May 1989, she is survived by a son, Kermit Cochran of Chillicothe; a daughter, Teresa Cochran of Oak Hill; a brother, Henry Shear of Minford; two grandchildren; a foster grandchild; and a foster great-grandchild.
Service is 1 p.m. Saturday at Mayhew Funeral Home in Jackson, with the Rev. Julius Chandler officiating, and interment in Fairmount Cemetery.
