MULLINS - Mrs. Pauline Lawrence Atkinson, widow of James Frierson Atkinson, died Thursday in a Columbia hospital.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Macedonia Methodist Church, burial will be in Cedardale Cemetery, directed by the Cox-Collins Funeral Home.
Mrs. Atkinson was born in Randolph County, N.C., a daughter of the late Oscar D. and Ida Suggs Lawrence. She was a member of Macedonia Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school for a number of years.
Surviving are a foster son, W. D. Atkinson of Mullins [William DuPree Atkinson, nephew of her husband]; a half-sister, Mrs. J. M. Farlow of Asheboro, N.C.; and 4 foster grandchildren.
