Katilee Buley Paullet, 35, of 106 Meadowlark Lane, Elizabeth City, NC died Saturday, June 4, 2011 at the Albemarle Hospital. A native of Boston, MA, she was the daughter of Kathleen Lyons Blackwell of Grandy, NC, and Joseph Francis Buley, Sr., of Boston, MA and the wife of Christopher Bryan Paullet of the residence. She was an associate professor at College of the Albemarle, a freelance writer for The Coastland Times, and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
Besides her parents and husband she is survived by a son, Cole Michael Paullet of the residence; a sister, Kimberly Claire Johnson and husband Van Lee of Midlothian, VA; two brothers, John K. W. Buley and wife Kelly of Suffolk, VA, and Joseph Francis Buley, Jr., of Boston, MA; and a second set of parents, John and Kathleen Morash. She was pre-deceased by a brother Jeffery Fitzgerald Buley.
A Funeral Mass will be Thursday, June 9, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church with The Very Rev. James Buchholz, V.F. officiating. Burial will be in Saint Luke's Church Cemetery, 4477 Benn's Church Blvd., Smithfield, VA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and at other times at the residence.
