McDONALD, MILDRED, 85, of Louisville, passed away Friday March 4, 2011 at Baptist Hospital East.
She was a member of Stearns Baptist Church, worked for Reynolds Metal from 1944 to 1946, a homemaker from 1946 to 1965, a Federal Court Reporter from 1965 to 1985 and a member of the Honorable order of Kentucky Colonels.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome McDonald; sisters, Ruth Wright and Alice Ramsey (Stanley).
She is survived by her son, Jerry A. McDonald (Carol); grandchildren, Malissa, Jonathan (Marj), Casey and A.J. McDonald, great grandchildren, Carter James McDonald and Brecc Cooper McDonald; brother, John H. West.
Her funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at Pearson Ratterman Brothers Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Road, with burial in Lebanon National Cemetery to follow. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Crusade for Children or the Alzheimer's Foundation in lieu of flowers.
