Alice (Majors) Dickens, 57, of Aurora, passed away on Friday January 3, 2003 in Rush-Copley Medical Center. She was born December 24, 1945 in Central City, KY the daughter of the late Chester and Georgia (Sims) Majors. Alice was a homemaker and a resident of Kane County for more than 40 years.
    Survivors include her two daughters, Lorie (Andre) Banks and Karen (fiance Bill Rawle) both of Aurora; three grandchildren, Nashonda Jones, David Banks and Jessica Dickens; four sisters, Josephine (Joe) Fish, Helen (Herb) Lacey, Cathy (Ron) Amos and Minnie Brook ; one special lifelong friend, Kay Esken and several nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Gene Dickens and two brothers.
    A wake will be held for Mrs. Dickens on Wednesday January 8, 2003 from 5-8
    p.m. at Dieterle Memorial Home, Montgomery. Services will be on Thursday January 9, 2003 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Montgomery.
