Near William Ihlenfeldt (d. 1899) stone
William G. Ihlenfeldt, 67, died yesterday at Memorial hospital where he was taken Saturday after he was found ill in the basement of his home by a neighbor. The neighbor also found his older brother, Otto, 73, dead in an upstairs room. The neighbor had gone to the Ihlenfeldt home to help the brothers grind horseradish. Failing to raise anyone he opened the unlocked front door and discovered the elder Ihlenfeldt dead in an upstairs bedroom. He searched further and discovered the younger man unconscious on the basement floor.
The brothers were sons of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Ihlenfeldt. They are survived by three sisters, Mrs. ALma Erickson, Mrs. John Lowry and Mrs. Hugh Workman.
Double rites will be conducted at Staab funeral home and burial will be in Oak Ridge cemetery.
