John Stephen Schatz, 81 a native of Illinois and a resident of Santa Maria for the past six years, passed away yesterday, October 11, 1933, at the home of his sister, Mrs. A. H. Davis, 924 South Broadway.
He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Davis and Miss Ella Schatz, Kansas, and a brother , George of Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be held Friday morning, October 13 1933, at the chapel of the Scott B. Pyle Funeral home, with Rev. Horace Campbell officiating. Interment will be in the local cemetery.
