Worked at the Overland-Willys Company, the predecessor of today's Chrysler Jeep plant in Toledo, Ohio. Retired in 1969. Was known for his love of Hershey chocolate bars and his hollow leg--he could eat like there was no tomorrow and Celia's cooking talents contributed to Uncle Joe's eating talent. Remembered for his "Bessie", an aging 1950s auto he drove even when the floor was rusting through. Sorely missed and deeply loved.
