Daniel Lamprey, son of Nathaniel and Ruth (Palmer) Lamprey, was born *August 10, 1743, at Hampton, Rockingham County, New Hampshire.

Father: Nathaniel Lamprey (1698-1769)
Mother: Ruth (Palmer) Lamprey (1705-1785)

Daniel Lamprey married Elizabeth Leavitt, daughter of Lieutenant Jonathan Leavitt, June 21, 1770, at Hampton, Rockingham County, New Hampshire.

Daniel and Elizabeth had the following children:
Dudley Lamprey (1771-1853)
Jeremiah Lamprey (1779-1863)

Daniel Lamprey died May 10, 1812, at Hampton, Rockingham County, New Hampshire.

Elizabeth (Leavitt) Lamprey died May 20, 1820, at Hampton, Rockingham County, New Hampshire.

*Research: History of the Town of Hampton, New Hampshire, although the age on the gravestone is stated as 70, through research I have found his birth date to be August 10, 1743, which would make him 68 years of age at time of death. Even if we use the year 1742, at the time of his death he would have been 69.
