Pioneer merchant in pre- and post-statehood New Mexico, Camill (also spelled variously 'Camillo' and 'Camil') followed his older sister, Elizabeth (Betty) Weisskopf Bibo, to New Mexico Territory. They were later joined by brother Samuel Weisskopf (changed to Samuel Whitehead) who settled in the Albuquerque area but apparently was not active in the mercantile business with his in-laws and brother.

Twin brother of Fanny Weisskopf of San Francisco.

Proprietor of Horton's Department Store in Albuquerque in the 1940s.

As he had been a resident of New Mexico since his teens, we're seeking the background of Camil's move and burial in the Denver area, where he and 'Tanta Hannah' spent their final years in a local old-age home.
