Mrs. Carrie Woodford Etherington, of 55 Imlay St. died Wednesday at a local convalescent hospital after a short illness. Born in West Hartford, she lived in the Hartford area all her life. She was a member of the Ivanhoe Chapter, OES and the Golden Age Club of the Immanuel Church. She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Charles H. Beam of Hartford and three nieces. The funeral will be Friday at 1:30 pm at the Morrison W. Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert D. Fiske officiating. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery.
