Katharine (Myles) (1. Gray) Coytemore (1576-1659) was born in Sutton, England, the daughter of Robert Miles and his wife (Parnell (Reve) Miles, who were married in Buxton, Suffolk County, England In England, she married Thomas Gray (b.1572-d.1606). After his death, she became the third wife of Rowland Coytemore (1567, circa 1626), marrying him on 23 December 1610. It appears that Katherine had children from both husbands. Both husbands died in England before Katharine came to Massachusetts in 1636 with one of her sons. Katharine (Myles (1. Gray) Coytemore died in 1659 in Charlestown, Massachusetts. Although no stone has been found, Katherine was certainly buried in the Phipps Street Burying Ground. Founded in 1630, it was the only cemetery in town! CHILD: Katherine Gray (1605-1683).
