Raymond M. Weber, 84, of 133 Lily Court, New Holland, died Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Garden Spot Village. Born in East Earl Twp., he was the son of the late Sidney and Lydia (Martin) Weber. He was married 63 years on Nov. 15 to Florence (Hershey) Weber. Raymond was a self employed truck driver with Martin Limestone for over 50 years. He later was a dealer for Ravens Trailers. He was also a member at Weaverland Mennonite Church. Surviving in addition to his wife are four children, Elaine, married to Gerald Kurtz of Morgantown, Janice, married to Carl Campbell of Mooresville, NC, Sherlyn, married to Elton Horst of Leola, and Keith, married to Karen (Shirk) Weber of Leola; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and four sisters, Mary Weaver of New Holland, Ida Weaver of Hesston, KS, Mabel Hurst and Irene Rutt both of New Holland. Preceding him in death are six brothers, Edgar, Ivan, Henry and Peter Martin, and Martin and Amos Weber; and a sister, Anna Hursh. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 13 at 3 pm at Weaverland Mennonite Church with the Bishop C. Kenneth Martin, Chaplain Chet Yoder, Reverend Leon Hurst, and Reverend James Weber officiating. Interment will be private in the adjoining Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Tuesday at the Church from 6-8 pm and visitation on Wednesday at the Church from 2:30 – 3 pm.
