He had been in ill health for some time, but was up every day, and had seemed as usual when he went to bed that evening. On Dec. 13, 1928, he was married to Mary G. Martin, who survives.
One son preceded him in death. He was a member of the Weaverland Church, where funeral services were held July 30.
