Levis L. Pullen entered into eternal life Monday, February 9, 2009. He was born November 8, 1916 to Walter and Fern Pullen of McAdoo, TX. Levis was a graduate of McAdoo High School and Bailey's Beauty School in Lubbock, TX. He was a WWII Air Force Veteran. Levis married Viola Pickens November 9, 1956. They owned and operated the Deluxe Beauty Shop in Spur from 1956 until their retirement in 1986. Viola passed away in 1997. Levis is survived by one sister, Dorothy Pitts of Abilene, TX; two brothers, Olene "Huck" Pullen of McAdoo and Elzy Pullen of Midland, TX; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at Spur Memorial Cemetery with Dennis Hofschild officiating.
The family will receive friends at Hwy. 70 Church of Christ from 12:00 PM Wednesday until service time.
