All of the Early County Georges are descended from Levi and Barbry, who moved to Blakely in 1852 from Barnwell Dist., now Aiken, SC. The Holleys were from the same part of SC. Barbry was of Swiss descent.
They are my GGGG Grandparents.

Frances George - Born 1826. Died 19 Feb 1872. Buried in the GEORGE Cemetery. She married Jeremiah Grimsley.

Harriet Rebekah George - She married Charles Brantley Holley, son of Joshua Holley & Maria Glover - He Died in the Civil War and a memorial is in the GEORGE cemetery.
