Samuel Leon, age 89, of Bridgeport, passed into the Peaceful Rest of the Lord on Monday, July 11, 2011 at Bridgeport Manor. Samuel was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, but moved into the Bridgeport area many years ago. He is the son of the late Jose Leon and the Late Raphaela Leon. Samuel is survived by his sons Sam, Harry, Gilbert and Wilfred Leon; two daughters Lourdes and Elba Leon; 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. and a host of other relatives and friends who will sorely miss him. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, July 14, 2011 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, ( La Funeraria de NUESTRO Pueblo), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport.
