Lorriane Thurn Brown-Davy

Long-time Auburn resident Lorraine Thurn Brown-Davy died May 21, 2008. Mrs. Brown-Davy was born September 11, 1921 in Gettysburg, South Dakota and moved with her family to California in 1923, eventually settling in Yuba City.
Lorriane has been a resident of the Auburn area for the past 40 years and previously of Albuquerque, NM for more than 20 years. Mrs. Davy founded Auburn Travel in 1971 and operated the agency until her marriage to David J. Davy in 1980. She was a past member of the original Auburn Soroptimist, Auburn Faith Community Hospital Guild and Placer County Museum Docent Guild.
No services are planned. In lieu of flowers, a donation in her memory to the Sacramento/North Valley Region of the American Cancer Society is appreciated.
