Andrew at the age of 3 year plus 3 months with his parents, immigrated to America via the Port of Antwerp, Belgium aboard the SS "Friesland" and arrived at Ellis Island, New York on the 13th of November 1893.
As per the ship's manifest the family's final destination was recorded as Menno, South Dakota. In the Spring of 1894 the SAILER family migrated north to Mercer County, North Dakota.
