Jeffrey Louis "Festus" Abla was born September 14, 1960, at Willits CA to Carl William and Bonnie Sue (Horton) Abla and passed away June 13, 2009, at the age of 48. He was raised in Erick OK where he graduated from Erick High School. Jeff started his career in the oilfield industry and was an assistant driller for Forrest Drilling.
He was preceded in death by his mother, brothers Rocky William and Russell Todd, nephews Levi Cain and Ronald Abla II, and grandparents Alley and Allie Abla.
Survivors include his father Carl William Abla of Erick; sisters Binnie Lynn of Elk City and Brenda of New Mexico; brothers Rodney of Redding CA, Carl II of Erick, Wesley of Piedmont OK, Ronald of Wichita KS, Cory of Fortuna CA, and Robert of Erick.
