Funeral services were held at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon at the White Rock Baptist Church for Mrs. Arthur H. Stone, 63, who died Sunday in San Angelo. The Rev. Fred Moore conducted the services and burial was in the Tidwell cemetery.

Pallbearers were M.A. Woodard, Carl Green, Gene Moss, Howard Furlong, Foy Powell and A. H. Lattimore.

Arrangements were in charge of James-Coker-Peters.

Mrs. Stone, who was Geneva Shanks before her marriage, was born on May 21, 1887, in the White Rock Community, north of Greenville, and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Shanks. She spent her girlhood in this county, united with the White Rock Baptist church early in life and was a faithful Christian.

She is survived by there (sic) children, Mrs. Maxine Cliff of Viola, Wisconsin; A. G. Stone of Wolfe City; Charles Stone of Chilton, Texas; three grandchildren, Dwain Stone of Chilton; Lanita Cliff and Linda Lou Cliff of Viola, Wisconsin; a sister, Mrs. Beulah Titus and brother, C. B. Shanks; mother-in-law, Mrs. Margaret (Ma) Stone of Longview and several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Her husband preceded her in death on October 16, 1945; one daughter died in infancy and a brother, Henry Shanks, died in 1945.
