My grandfather was a farmer. He farmed with my Uncle George, his son in Harmony when I was born. He was not a tall man, when he stood next to my father who was 6' 3", he looked very short.
I remember him bringing dog treats for our dog after he retired when he would stop by to see my mom and dad. Our dog would see his car and go running to sniff his pockets.
He smoked cigars and could wiggle his ear lobes which I thought was one of the neatest things as a kid.
