Mason Carroll, 1907-1991 -

Mason Carroll, 84, of Grayson, died Monday in Lawrence County Medical Center in Ironton, Ohio following a long illness.
Mr. Carroll was born Feb. 28, 1907, in Carter County, a son of the late Scott and Maggie Swint Carroll.

He was a retired farmer and member of Oak Grove Church of Christ.

Surviving are his wife, Thelma Brainard Carroll; a daughter, Faye Conley of Grayson; two sons, Charles Boonie Carroll of Ashland
and Joseph Vernon Carroll of Grayson; two sisters, Ethel Bond of Jeriel and
Lacy Easterling of Michigan; three brothers, Phillip Carroll of Grayson, Edgar
Carroll of Rush, and Lawrence Carroll of Hitchins; four grandchildren; and
three great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson by John Sargent, minister. Burial will be in Cribbs Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the funral home.
