Dennis Cornelius was the 2nd child of Daniel Shea and Margaret Sullivan.

Dennis married Margaret Burns on 10 Jan 1894 in Lansing. They moved to Bay City and were blessed with four children; Burns, Donald, Dennis and Margaret.

Donald went to live with his Aunt (Margaret Shea Heney) after the death of his father. Donald died at 20 years of age and buried with his parents.

Dennis was born on 29 Mar 1900 and died 14 days later. Final resting place is unknown.

Margaret was born on 10 Aug 1901. Her Mom died giving birth to Margaret. After her father died in 1916, she went to live with her Aunt Margaret.

Dennis' siblings: Cornelius, Johanna (Keefer), Margaret (Heney), Mary (Hickey), Daniel, Lenora (Miller), Elizabeth (Doherty), Mattie (Cook) and infant sister who died at 10 months.

Dennis was employed with the Michigan Central Railroad as the Roadmaster. He started at the bottom and worked his way up to the position he held until death. He died at Mercy Hospital at 2:30am on Thursday. His funeral took place on Saturday at ST. James. Daniel Foley, Michael Comerford, Daniel Cunningham and J. McConnell (from Flint) were pall-bearers.
