Statesboro, Ga., June 7 - Funeral services for Mrs. Janie Waters Akin, former Savannahian, who died in Atlanta Thursday will be held Sunday at 4:30 p.m. at Lane's Primitive Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. J. W. Groom, Rev. J. Walter Hendricks and Rev. A. R Crumpton.
The body will remain at Barnes Funeral Home until time for the services.
Active pallbearers, nephews, will be Jack DeLoach, Dr. Aubrey J. Waters, Winton Lanier, Ulmer Knight, Raleigh Waters, and Douglas DeLoach.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dan Driggers, Ward Hagan, Barney McKlerven, Earl Hallman, Floyd Grooms, Zeke Proctor, Dess Proctor and William Sherrian.
