Margaret Vanzant Lowry of Manahawkin, N.J., died Sunday, July 17, 2011, in Arcadia Nursing and Rehab Center in Little Egg Harbor, NJ. She was 87.
She was born and raised in Fallsington Borough, and resided in Bristol most of her adult life. She also lived in Manheim, Pa., and recently resided in Manahawkin, N.J., for the past 19 years.
Margaret liked to travel, play bingo, go to the casinos and work on crafts.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, V. Lawrence Lowry; a son, Lawrence G. Lowry; and a daughter, Bonita M. Blosser. She is survived by her children, Leonard J. Lowry (Lynn), Tanya J. Wismer (Abe), Verdine A. McHugh (Jim), Varan W. Lowry and Karen M. Wilson; 17 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at 12: 30 p.m. Thursday, July 21, at the Molden Funeral Chapel, 133 Otter Street, Bristol. Calling hours will be from 11:30 a.m. to time of service. Interment will follow in Bristol Cemetery.
