COLLINS - Mrs. Arta Henrietta (Scholten) Collins, age 87, formerly of Wyoming, MI, now residing in Grant, MI, went to be with our Lord on June 14, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, James Collins; by three brothers and six sisters; and by her daughter-in-law, Barbara Collins. She is survived by her children, James (Patricia) Collins, Reggie Collins, Gina (Tom) Baxter; ten grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren; two sisters, Martha Zandstra of Wayland, Michigan, Arlyna VandeGriend of Hull, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews. She loved her family, babies, birds, flowers, and traveling with her sisters. The Memorial Service will be held at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Newaygo, 599 W. Brooks Street, on Friday, June 24, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation an hour beforehand at the church. There will be a luncheon following the memorial at the church with interment at Hillside Cemetery East of Grant on 128th Street.
