He was predeceased by his father, Kenneth Axton, and a brother, George Ermlick.
He is survived by his mother, Mable Byrne Axton, Daisytown, Pa.; five brothers: Eugene Axton, Daisytown, Pa., Kenneth Axton, Newell, Pa., William Axton, Brownsville, Pa., Ernie Axton, Meadville, Pa., Richard Ermlick, Carmichaels, Pa.; and a sister, Donna Hiles, Tower Hill, Pa.
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., With the Rev. Clifford Reynolds officiating.
Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
