CHENOA - The funeral of Benjamin Bachtold, 96, of Chenoa will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Chenoa Baptist Church, the Rev. Joe Seese officiating.
Burial will be in Strawn Cemetery, Strawn.
Visitation will be an hour before the service Monday at the church. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa, is in charge of arrangements.
He died at 6:05 a.m. Friday (July 26, 2002) at OSF Saint James Hospital, Pontiac.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Bachtold, Chenoa; a son, Eugene Benjamin (Bonita) Bachtold, Chino, Calif.; two grandchildren; and a brother, Elmer Bachtold, Colfax.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Chenoa Baptist Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
