Complications resulting from surgery were fatal when Mrs. May Schultz Yount, 58, wife of Edward Yount of 314 Cleveland Street, died at 7:15 a.m. today at Piqua Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient since December 11. She had been ill for two months.

Born in Darke County on May 7, 1884, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Schultz. She was married in 1903, and had resided in Piqua for 15 years. She was a member of the Christian Church of West Grove, Darke County.

She leaves her husband; a son, Daniel H. Yount of Columbus; two daughters, Mrs. Hazel Lacey of Piqua and Mrs. Gladys Free of Fletcher; a brother, Clarence Schultz of Bradford; and a sister, Mrs. Goldie Miller of Bradford.

The Rev. Ira Clark will conduct services Sunday at 2 p.m. at the residence. Burial will be in Forest Hill cemetery.

The body was taken to the Wagner Funeral Home and prepared for burial and will be returned to the home Saturday when friends may call in the afternoon and evening and Sunday.
