Major League Baseball Player. Born in Chicago, Illinois, he was an outfielder making his debut for the Pittsburgh Pirates on June 25, 1913. For two seasons, he played with the Pittsburgh Pirates (1913), plus both the St. Louis Terriers and Baltimore Terrapins (1914). He finished his career with a record of 120 hits, 52 runs scored, 4 home runs, 64 runs batted in and a .272 batting average. He died at age 57 from the effects of tuberculosis in Chicago, Illinois.
