This picture is of George Fruit Jr., son of George Fruit Sr. Both father & son served in the Revolutionary War.
George Jr. is honored by the DAR & SAR as the oldest living survivor when he died at the age of 114 on Aug. 6, 1876.
He was born Jan. 2, 1763.
