Born August 29, 1935, in South Amboy, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Edward V. Belloff, Sr. and Helena Bohi Belloff. Mrs. Biddulph grew up in Highland Park, graduating from St. Peter's High School, New Brunswick, in 1952.
Before her marriage, Valaire was employed by Johnson & Johnson as a keypunch operator; she also played on the J&J women's basketball team. In later years, she enjoyed camping, traveling, doll collecting, reading, exploring her family's history, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Biddulph is survived by her husband of 55 years, Thomas E. Biddulph, Jr.; her daughter and son-in-law, retired USAF Major Catherine Biddulph and Keith McClure of Omaha, Neb.; sons and daughters-in-law, of Fredericksburg, Va.; John Biddulph, M.D. and Tracy Meyer Biddulph; David Biddulph and Joanne Budrewicz Biddulph. Also surviving are Valaire's grandchildren Thomas, Katerine and baby twins Matthew and Sarah. Mrs. Biddulph's brother, Edward V. Belloff, Jr. of Southampton, NJ, also survives her, as do four nephews--Dennis, Wayne, Kevin and Tom Belloff--and a niece, Joanne Belloff Drury.
