Jordan, 84, of Oakdale died Monday, July 29, 1996, in Oakdale Community Hospital.
He was a member of St. Matthews Baptist Church and a retired carpenter. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Lydia "Irene" Jordan of Oakdale; one son, Aubrey L. Jordan of Oakdale; two stepdaughters, Judy Mowad of Pineville and Nelda Horowitz of Oakdale; two sisters, Myrtle Stalsby of Oakdale and Marie Brahm of Galveston, Texas; one grandchild; 10 stepgrandchildren and six stepgreat-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until time of services Wednesday in the funeral home.
