Mrs. W.L. "Ted" Alfred
Mrs W.L. (Edna) Alfred, 87, formerly of Tacoma, died Saturday [November 3] in Sacramento where she had lived since 1937. She was born in St. Paul, Minn. and formerly belonged to St. Patrick's Catholic church here.
She leaves a son, Jerome of San Mateo; a daughter, Mrs. Renee Freeman of Sacramento; a sister, Mrs. Maude Nisonger of Los Angeles; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Private services will be held Thursday at Calvary Cemetery, under direction of Gaffney Funeral Home.
