Stanley was born Estanislado Estrada, named after his grandfather Estanislado Hernandez. Beloved son of Manuel and Manuela Estrada, brother of Mike, Rita, Mary, Jose and Margaret; tragically died at the young age of 6 near his home. Stanley and his sisters were playing near a drainage ditch that was located near his family home, Stanley accidentally slipped into the ditch and was held down by the underflow and branches that were at the bottom. His sister Rita jumped in after him hoping to reach him and bring her brother to safety, but her actions proved to be nearly fatal because she passed out in the water while trying to help her brother. Thankfully Ritas younger sister Mary ran home to get some help, their older brother Mike ran over and saved Rita but because Rita was unconscious she wasnt able to tell Mike that their youngest sibling Stanley was still under, until after she regained consciousness. A short time after a passerby assisted in finding little Stanleys lifeless body and pulled him out. The fire department was notified; every effort was taken to try and revive Stanley but it was too late, Stanley could not be resuscitated, it was declared an accidental drowning. Services were held in his family home and the next day he was laid to rest at Smith Mountain Cemetery in Dinuba, Ca.
