Services for Mrs. Frances Womack will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at the Denver City Church of Christ with Gary Davis officiating. Burial will be in Denver City Memorial Park under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Denver City, Texas.
Mrs. Womack passed away Sunday, July 24, 2011 in Denver City, Texas.
Francis Elaine Womack was born November 12, 1913 in Coolidge, Texas. She was the twelfth of thirteen children of William Sellers and Mollie(Boyd)Sellers. She married John Milton Womack December 24 1938. She retired from Denver City I.S.D. in 1984 after teaching English for 36 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Robert Leroy Sellers; one infant daughter; one great-granddaughter, Macie Laine Robinson; and her ex-husband.
Survivors include one daughter, Joni Hancock; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to New Mexico Christian Children's Home, Hospice of Lubbock, or Denver City Church of Christ Thailand Mission Fund.
