Her obituary in the 24 Feb 1921 The Valley Times-Star, Newville, PA reads:
"At the burial of Mrs. Anna McCoy, widow of the late Dr. D. S. McCoy, the dentist, Saturday afternoon in The Newville Cemetery, the pallbearers were T. A. Derick, C. R. Eby, Harry Hoover and Harry Shenk. Rev. J. T. Jenkins, of Zion Lutheran Church was the officiating minister. Her age was 71 years.
"The children present were Charles and Edwin, from Philadelphia, Frank, from near Pittsburgh, Mrs. Helen Skinner, from Pittsburgh and Mrs. Daniel Givler, of Carlisle. The other son, David, from Montana, was absent.
"Out of town attendants were Mr. and Mrs. George Berger and son, and Mrs. Paul Kruger, all of Chambersburg, and Mrs. McCoy's only brother, George North, of Philadelphia."
